Hayden Homes Provides $20,000 Match to Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend
New and upgraded monthly donations made by March 31 will be boosted with double match by Hayden Homes in 2025
Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend is excited to announce a major match for all new monthly donors and existing donors who upgrade their monthly gift in the first quarter of 2025: Hayden Homes has gifted $20,000 to provide a double match for the rest of the year!
The match means that for a new donor giving $10 per month, Hayden Homes will provide a double match of an additional $20 per month, bringing the total monthly donation to the Club to $30 per month, or $360 for the year.
Even more impactful will be existing donors who increase their current monthly donation, for instance from $75 to $100 per month. Hayden Homes will provide a double match to these donors for the entire donation amount. For instance bringing an upgraded gift of $1,200 per year to a total of $3,600 per year.
“We are honored to support the enriching experiences provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend to the youth of our region’s working families,” said Deb Flagan, Hayden Homes’ vice president of community engagement and giving. “Our mission is to Give As You Go™ so together we build a strong community, and lead fulfilled lives. The Club is a valuable community organization helping to achieve that vision for many families throughout Central Oregon.”
A check for the match was presented to the Club at a small celebration in December attended by members of Hayden Homes’ staff and Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend staff. The gift is the third contribution Hayden Homes has provided to the organization in recent years, bringing total recent giving to $50,000 in the past three years.
The dollars raised through the 2025 match will be used to support the enrichment programming provided by the Club, as well as trauma-informed staff training enabling the Club to provide exceptional services to the youth of our region.
In 2024, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend provided the following services:
- More than 300 students attended
- Nearly 18,000 visits were made
- More than 20,000 meals were served in partnership with Bend La Pine Schools
- 2,967 dinners were provided to Club families in partnership with The Giving Plate
- More than $400,000 in scholarships was provided
“Our partnership with Hayden Homes is truly transformative for the youth we serve,” said Bess Goggins, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend. “Their generous financial support allows us to expand our reach and provide exceptional programming with a sliding scale of scholarships available that empowers families and strengthens our community.”
