Over the past few weeks, landscapers and construction workers in Rathdrum, Idaho, have endured blazing hot weather, wind and thunderstorms while they work to make the Hayden Homes $25,000 Dream Backyard become a reality.
And now we’re less than a week away from unveiling the final, finished project, and the Labelles, the lucky winners of the dream backyard, couldn’t be more excited!
The storage shed is nearly complete, the trellis has been framed up, and landscaping blocks and boulders have been set in place. Still to come are additional pavers, a new Weber barbecue grill, a gas fire pit and something special for the Labelles’ two young children. After seeing the storage shed, the Labelles’ young daughter, Chloe, wanted a little house of her own, and so a new playhouse will be one of the final pieces to be added to this family’s dream backyard.
The forecast is calling for pleasant weather for the remainder of the week, during which also marks the official start of summer – just in time to wrap up this project to allow the Labelles to enjoy their new dream backyard.
